Jared A. Levy
Jared A. Levy is a partner in the Morgan & Morgan Business Trial Group and leads the firm’s investment recovery practice.
Jared is a versatile trial lawyer with 20 years of litigation experience. He represents investors who suffered financial losses because of brokerage-firm, investment-advisor, and bank misconduct. He also represents plaintiffs in high-stakes business disputes involving corporate divorces, deceptive trade practices, legal malpractice, breaches of contract and fiduciary duties, and usury. Jared represents all clients on a contingency basis. During his career, he has helped clients recover tens of millions of dollars and has won multiple seven-figure trial verdicts.
Jared’s litigation philosophy is simple: fight aggressively to maximize the case’s value and push the case to trial as quickly as possible. He battles corporate misconduct by leveraging Morgan & Morgan’s vast resources, which includes more than 700 attorneys and offices nationwide. Jared practices in state and federal courts, and handles securities arbitrations throughout the country.
Jared has been recognized by Florida Trend Magazine as Florida’s “Legal Elite” – an award that less than 1.5% of fellow Florida Bar members have received. He has been appointed to the Florida Bar’s Consumer Protection Committee for multiple years. And he is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association, a national group that is dedicated to fighting for investors against the nation’s largest financial institutions.
Jared began his career as a federal district court judicial clerk and then worked for the national law firm of White & Case LLP. Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Jared was a partner at a boutique litigation firm, where he represented clients in investment and business disputes for over a decade.
Jared graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1995 and graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 1998, where he served on the Law Review and published his note.
