Business Trial Group Lawyers Chosen as Florida Legal Elite

Attorneys William B. Lewis, Damien H. Prosser, and Benjamin A. Webster of the Business Trial Group have been selected by their peers as Florida Legal Elite for 2017.

Florida Legal Elite is an annual attorney list published by Florida Trend magazine. Fewer than 1.5% of the active Florida Bar members who practice in Florida were named as 2017 Legal Elite.

William Lewis, Damien Prosser, and Benjamin Webster were selected as Legal Elite “Up & Comers” in the practice area of Commercial Litigation. Statewide, fewer than 150 attorneys were chosen for this honor. These attorneys “represent the future of the legal profession in Florida,” according to Florida Trend.

Voting for Florida Legal Elite is reserved for in-state members of the Florida Bar. Bar members are asked to name attorneys whom they hold in the highest regard or they would recommend to others. Voters are also asked to name “Up & Comers” (top attorneys under 40 years old) as well as excellent attorneys from the government and non-profit sectors.

Mr. Lewis, Mr. Prosser, and Mr. Webster were also chosen as 2017 Super Lawyers, a distinction they shared with the Business Trial Group’s Paul L. SanGiovanni, Christian Savio, Evan H. Frederick, and Ryan Maxey. Mr. Webster and Mr. Lewis were additionally recognized this year for having one of the Top 100 Florida verdicts in 2016.
